This project was a chance to redesign the existing CDP Manufacturing website to create a space that showcases the company's unique products. As the elevator industry's top supplier of replacement parts and fasteners, CDP needed a site with a sleeker, more technical look. We built a site that is informative, streamlined and technical, as well as keyword-rich. This will help CDP show up in more web searches for elevator and escalator replacement parts. The design of this site covers the basics of what CDP does in the elevator industry, including their capabilities and the products they supply. But we also set them up with a Newsroom feature on the new CDP site, which allows them to manually update their website with current news, information, and articles for clients.

House of Hope Boutique Originals -

House of Hope is a non-profit organization that helps combat homelessness in Rhode Island by teaching women essential tools for future employment. These women are taught sewing and seamstress skills while repurposing donated textiles into handbags, wine bags, totes, and other items. House of Hope Boutique wanted to create an ecommerce site that not only explained the organization, but also allowed visitors to purchase these one-of-a-kind items or make donations online. Terrapin gave the House of Hope Boutique an online ordering system and donation area that accepts Paypal, credit cards, and even fabric donations. The main goal was to build a site that would help move donations and sales along, so we took the initial round of photography for their online product catalog to show visitors what House of Hope Boutique is all about. We also set them up with Constant Contact so they can keep their email marketing going strong, and the website ties in with their Facebook page to increase their social media visibility.

Michael's Meats -

Michael's Meats, a butcher shop in Cumberland, wanted a new website to reintroduce their store to customers and showcase the full range of items they carry. Terrapin started with on-site photography where we captured their complete grocery and deli displays, as well as the overall feel of the store. Taking quality photographs ourselves instead of using stock pictures shows customers that Michael's Meats is warm and welcoming by showcasing the actual store itself. Michaels-Meats.com features a "What's On Sale" page via the Providence Journal, as well as PDF downloads of cooking information and prep sheets. Terrapin also ensured all website fonts were unified, a set color scheme was in place, and the logo was just right. And since Terrapin has the digital logo file, we can make sure it looks correct in print or wherever else their logo might show up.

After using an outdated and unattractive website for too long, Stedman and Kazounis needed a site that was not only better looking and fresh, but also easy for them to update themselves. In creating their updated, multi-page site, we ensured the S&K logo was front and center and that the website's colors were coordinated to create a clean, uniform look. To further personalize the site, we took photos of the employees and equipment and featured Rhode Island-based cartoonist Don Bousquet's cartoons, which he drew specifically for S&K. Another great feature on Ste-Kaz.com is the Newsroom, which can be updated by the owners whenever they choose. Updating this part of the site themselves creates more content for Google to pick up, adding to the site's visibility in search engines.

Wencomolding.com is an example of a one-page website that, while basic, tells a visitor at a glance exactly what the company does without any extraneous or unnecessary bulk. The new site that we created allows for much better search engine performance with all the key words that were missing before. And in addition to taking the photos of Wenco's shop to showcase their equipment and manufacturing capabilities, Terrapin also built a site that created more sales opportunities for this business going forward.

This site is another great example of Terrapin's ability to create sleek, upscale websites. Because the Peregrine Group handles high end, million dollar renovations of mills and buildings, their website had to give off a solid first impression of top-quality management. We achieved this by taking the company's existing sales kit and translating it to the website to reach a wider audience while educating people on Peregrine's services. We also created a custom flash movie for the homepage and equipped the site with a complete set of custom management tools. This means the Peregrine Group can easily edit the Project Gallery whenever they need to via the management interface. Uploading photos or adding text is simple now: the site processes and resizes new content itself, ensuring the site always stays sleek, upscale, and up-to-date.
