>>> THE POSITION
Currently we have an opportunity for a Marketing & Sales Support person. Your primary responsibilities will be to generate text copy for Terrapin as well as our clients' websites, find new prospects, and coordinate sales meetings.
We envision day to day activities for our Marketing & Sales Support person to include the following:
Copywriting:
- Generating new marketing text for Terrapin including email campaigns,
direct mail pieces, sales sheets and website
- Interviewing clients to generate content for their website
- Gathering & editing testimonials from Terrapin clients
Find New Prospects:
- On and off-line research into companies who would be a good fit for our services
- Calling to verify contact information for companies in our marketing database
- Coordination of direct mail campaigns
- Respond to email / mail requests that come in through telemarketing partner
Coordination of Sales Appointments:
- Qualifying appointments set through our telemarketing partner
- Verifying contact information, meeting location and who will be attending
- Preparing sales materials & kits
House Keeping:
- Updating Terrapin social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Managing contact database
- Managing email marketing database
- Answering phone to provide customer service

>>> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A solid understanding of computers and the internet
- Professional appearance
- Educational background or experience in Communications or Marketing a plus
- Must be able to see, hear and communicate effectively in oral and written form
- A current model PC or MAC with internet access

>>> COMPENSATION
- $12 per hour
- Part time to start (20 hrs per week)
- Moving to a full time position with benefit package
